Islatesoro will blow your mind! From the moment you go down the stairs to the house you're struck with floral aromas from the beautiful flowers surrounding the place carried on the ocean breeze. As you enter the house, you're immediately in awe of the beautiful mahogany woodwork that surrounds you from the cabinetry to the staircase to the doors. It has a beautiful cooks kitchen with everything you need from the All-Clad cookware to the Wolf range and beautiful glassware. But the real fun begins when you go out on the veranda and the breathtaking view of Coral Bay and its turquoise waters with Norman Island in the backdrop hit you like a postcard from some far off fanciful place you wouldn't think is real. It just keeps getting better as you go down to the pool level and again you're amazed by the kitchen and bar. More mahogany touches with a perfect kitchenette you could prepare meals or mix margaritas. I cant say enough about all the nice touches this house has to offer. The furniture is extremely comfortable, the linens perfect, plush towels, beach chairs, the handmade ceramic sconces, the very cool old world maps that decorate the walls. There's even a mini library of useful guide books, histories of St. John, and other nice little treasures for the readers out there. Getting there couldn't be any easier. Rosanne and the whole Antares crew were perfect hosts from start to finish. They made sure we knew how to navigate the trip from the airport in St. Thomas to getting on the ferry to how to get our rental jeeps and make the drive to Coral Bay. We were met in Coral Bay then escorted to the house where we got settled in and had zero problems the entire week. I cant tell you how happy we were from start to finish on this vacation. The house itself is a work of thoughtful art and architecture and Antares management was terrific at coordinating everything and really made us feel at home. If you want the perfect place to go explore St John from or never leave your place and just enjoy the house and scenery, this is it!
